# Fee

Owlto's fee structure includes two parts: bridge fees and Destination TX Costs. Bridge fees are the fees paid by users to the platform and market makers, charged as a percentage of the transfer amount. Destination TX Costs are the fees paid by users in advance to market makers to cover the fees for network transmission to the destination. This fee structure ensures fast and reliable asset transfer and protects the interests of market makers.

Considering the instability of gas fees on the Ethereum network, Owlto adjusts fees based on the destination network's Gwei to ensure that its fees are lower than the average level. However, such adjustments are not frequent, and users can view the current fees on the Owlto Finance website.

For example, when you transfer 1 ETH from Arbitrum to Starknet, the bridge fee is 0.01% of the transfer amount, and the Destination TX Cost is 0.0015 ETH. The transfer cost is:

0.01% \* 1 ETH + 0.0015 ETH = 0.0115 ETH

For example, when you transfer 100 USDT from the mainnet to zkSync, the bridge fee is 0.1% of the transfer amount, and the Destination TX Cost is 1.2 USDT. The transfer cost is:

0.1% \* 100 USDT + 1.2 USDT = 1.3 USDT

The fee rates for different rollup networks are subject to change, and you can follow our official [Discord ](https://discord.gg/dyArfVwdxm)or [Twitter ](https://twitter.com/Owlto_Finance)for updates.

# Owlto Swap

Swap is the most traditional and important business model in the DeFi sector. Considering that there are already many excellent DEXs in the market that offer good liquidity and user experience, Owlto has chosen to adopt an aggregator strategy, integrating multiple top-tier DEXs and underlying protocols to provide users with the optimal trading experience.

Integration Protocol

| Protocol    | Type       |
| ----------- | ---------- |
| OKX DEX     | Aggregator |
| 1inch       | Aggregator |
| Uniswap     | DEX        |
| PancakeSwap | DEX        |

**Trading Advantages**

* **Optimal Price:** Obtain the best exchange rate through multi-protocol price comparison

* **Deep Liquidity:** Aggregate multiple liquidity sources

* **Low Slippage Trading:** Intelligently split large orders

* **MEV Protection:** MEV protection is enabled by default to prevent malicious arbitrage attacks

# Pool

### **Source of Earnings and Yield Fluctuations**

The pool's earnings primarily come from a share of the cross-chain transaction fees of Owlto. Whenever users conduct cross-chain transactions via Owlto, a portion of the fees is allocated to the pool and distributed proportionally based on each user’s deposit. The yield is calculated based on the earnings distributed over the past 24 hours and the current total amount in the pool. Therefore, as users' cross-chain activities and the pool’s deposits fluctuate, the yield will vary accordingly.

### **Deposit and Earnings Withdrawal Time**

Small deposits withdrawal requests can be processed immediately. If the funds in pool are insufficient for withdrawal, you will need to wait 24 hours, after which the funds will be automatically transferred to your address. Earnings can be withdrawn daily at 3:00 UTC.

### **How are Pool’s Reward Points Calculated?**

The reward points are calculated hourly using the formula: **Pool Reward Points=Reward Points Quantity \* Time (hours) \* ETH Amount** For example, if the reward points are 5, and you stake 1 ETH, the Pool reward points for one day (24 hours) would be: **5\*24\*1=120 points**

### **Contract Security**

Currently, the contract has not undergone a third-party audit. We place great importance on security and plan to conduct a comprehensive audit in the future to ensure the safety of funds. In the meantime, our development team has implemented industry-standard security measures and best practices to protect user assets. Users are advised to deposit with a full understanding of the potential risks.

### **Deposit and Withdrawal Limits**

Each user’s principal deposit has a maximum limit. Once this limit is reached (1000 ETH), the user will no longer be able to deposit additional funds. If a user makes a withdrawal, the corresponding deposit capacity will be freed up. The overall pool deposit limit is not fixed and may be adjusted based on market conditions and demand.

# Reward System

Owlto Reward Program serves not only as an incentive for our core community members, but also as a strategic cornerstone for co-evolution with our contributors. As community engagement forms the foundation of our ecosystem's prosperity, we are dedicated to establishing a fair value redistribution system through this initiative.\
\
The current Owlto reward ecosystem comprises two core components: the Referral and Commission Program, and the Points Reward System. Within the referral framework, users can expand their community networks through exclusive invitation links. When referred users complete eligible cross-chain transactions, both the referrer and the referee receive proportional commission rewards, establishing a sustainable incentive cycle.

Meanwhile, the Points System employs a multi-dimensional behavioral incentive framework to quantitatively evaluate users' core interactions within the platform - including cross-chain transaction frequency, volume, and multi-chain engagement depth. Points are accumulated according to predefined rules based on these metrics.

These two modules operate independently yet synergistically: the referral mechanism focuses on community growth and immediate incentives, while the points system emphasizes long-term behavioral value accumulation. All reward data is transparently recorded on-chain via smart contracts, ensuring verifiable and trustworthy distribution mechanisms. Through this composite incentive model, we aim to establish a virtuous cycle that simultaneously drives community engagement and sustains long-term ecological value, ensuring every participant's contribution receives appropriate recognition and reward.

# Referral & Rewards

#### **Referral Program**

Owlto Finance utilizes a referral mechanism to incentivize ecosystem growth. Users can generate a unique referral link by connecting a wallet to the platform.

Referral Lifecycle

The following workflow outlines the commission generation process:

1. Invitation: User A shares their unique referral link with User B.
2. Activation: User B connects their wallet and completes a cross-chain transaction.
3. Commission Generation: A percentage of the transaction fee generated by User B is calculated as a rebate.
4. Settlement: The earned share is automatically credited to User A’s commission account.

# SDK

## Install

#### install with npm

{% code overflow="wrap" %}

```bash
npm install owlto-sdk
```

{% endcode %}

#### install with yarn

```bash
yarn add owlto-sdk
```

## Usage

{% embed url="<https://github.com/owlto-finance/owlto-sdk/blob/main/README.md>" %}

For example, to bridge USDC from Base to Scroll

```typescript
import * as owlto from "owlto-sdk";
const options: owlto.BridgeOptions = {}
let bridge = new owlto.Bridge(options);
const result = await bridge.getBuildTx(
    "USDC", //token name
    "BaseMainnet", //from chain name
    "ScrollMainnet",// to chain name
    "1", // value
    "0xa5E56D455BF247C475D752721Ba35A0c85Df81Dc", // from address
    "0xa5E56D455BF247C475D752721Ba35A0c85Df81Dc", // to address
);
//initialize your wallet
//...
if (result.txs.approveBody) {
    const tx = await wallet.sendTransaction(result.txs.approveBody as ethers.TransactionRequest);
    await tx.wait();
}
const tx = await wallet.sendTransaction(result.txs.transferBody as ethers.TransactionRequest);
await tx.wait();
const receipt = await bridge.waitReceipt(tx.hash)
console.log(receipt)
```

For more details, check the example/bridge\_usdc folder.

#### Bridge options

**1.chainNameMapping (Map\<string, string> | optional)**

Map your the chain names from your protocol with Owlto.

For example, if the chain name of Base Mainnet on your protocol is "Base", you can set `chainNameMapping["Base"] = "BaseMainnet"`.

Then you can run functions with chain name as "Base" in order to proceed with a bridge.

#### Get build tx

```typescript
const result = await bridge.getBuildTx(
    "USDC", //token name
    "BaseMainnet", //from chain name
    "ScrollMainnet",// to chain name
    "1", // value
    "0xa5E56D455BF247C475D752721Ba35A0c85Df81Dc", // from address
    "0xa5E56D455BF247C475D752721Ba35A0c85Df81Dc", // to address
);
//result:
{
...
  networkType: 1; //
  txs: any; //actual transactions need to be sent to from chain, see the following details
}
```

The txs contains the transactions user should send to `from chain` when bridging.

**1.Evm**

* **txs.approveBody**

  The approve transaction, if any, should be sent first.
* **txs.transferBody**

  The actual transfer transaction.

**2.Starknet**

Coming Soon

**3.Solana**

Coming Soon

#### Get receipt

1. `bridge.waitReceipt(fromChainHash: string)`
2. `bridge.getReceipt(fromChainHash: string)`

`fromChainHash` is the hash value of the transfer transaction.

`waitReceipt` refers to waiting for the bridge process to complete.

If the bridge process is not completed within 1 minute (usually due to not finding the hash value or failure), error message will be displayed.

`getReceipt` refers to get the status of a bridge process.

If `fromChainHash` is not found, bridge is in progress or failed, error message will be displayed.

#### Get pair info

1. `bridge.getPairInfo(tokenName: string, fromChainName: string, toChainName: string)`
2. `bridge.getAllPairInfos()`

A pair consists of three components: `token name`, `from chain name`, `to chain name`.

You can only bridge supported pairs

# API

# Overview

If you are Aggregators, Cross-Chain Swap, DEX, etc., you can choose to install Owlto-API as your underlying solution to achieve cross-chain functionality between different networks, and in-depth integration to customize your product.

The URL path for API: [https://owlto.finance/api/bridge\_api/v1/{API}](https://owlto.finance/api/bridge_api/v1/{api})

Documentation: <https://owlto.finance/bridge_api/v1/swagger/index.html>

| API                   | Description                                              |
| --------------------- | -------------------------------------------------------- |
| get\_all\_pair\_infos | Make a query on all supported tokens/chains pairs        |
| get\_build\_tx | Create transaction body for sending to the "from chain". |
| get\_receipt          | Check the status of a bridge process                     |

### Step Guide

#### step 1. get\_all\_pair\_infos

Firstly, you can make a query through this API to find all supported trading pairs and related information (such as minimum, maximum values, etc.).

#### step 2. get\_build\_tx

Following then, you can create transaction body for sending to the "from chain" through this API. This body does not contain any fields related to gas price.

#### step 3. get\_receipt

After sending the transaction obtained in step 2 to the blockchain, you can use the hash value of that transaction to query this API to obtain the status of the bridging process.

# Q\&A

#### How do I know which tokens can be bridged between selected chains?

You can simply called the `bridge.getAllPairInfos()` function.(`get_all_pair_infos` HTTP API)

It will return a list of pairs for each supported tokens can be bridged.

#### What does build tx do?

The `bridge.getBuildTx()` function(`get_build_tx` HTTP API) will return all the transactions needed when bridging.

For example, if you bridge USDC from Base to Scroll, it will return two transactions in the txs field.

1. `txs.approveBody`, approve to Owlto smart contract.(will be null if the allowance is enough)
2. `txs.transferBody`, transfer the USDC token to Owlto smart contract on Base chain.

The transactions are in ETH JSON format and are ready to be sent by library like "Ethers".

#### Why getReceipt () returns error?

The `bridge.getReceipt()` function(`get_receipt` HTTP API) will return the status of the bridge process.

When it return non zero code, there are typically three cases

1. The hash you request is not found, maybe the user failed to send the txs.transferBody or there is a delay.
2. The hash you request is found, but the bridge process is still ongoing, you should try again later.
3. The hash you request is found, but the bridge process failed due to reasons like value out of range.
